“Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully observe all the words of this law, and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land which you crossed the Jordan to possess” ~ (Deuteronomy 31:12-13).
The threefold purpose of our Sunday school is:
- To teach children the Word effectively by providing insights into salvation, the importance of embracing a sanctified life style, and the necessity of maturing in Christian experience
- To help children connect to God through His Word
- To equip children to fulfill the great commission by serving and sharing Christ in the community and beyond
To encourage all our children to practice Bible reading daily; to help them apply the Word to their lives; to teach sharing God’s love; to help them strengthen their relationship with the Lord; and to educate them about the church’s mission statement will always be our prime objectives.
